? about Twitter etiquette. If someone replies to your message, should you reply back to let them know you saw it?

I'm not one on etiquette, but the way I handle it is how I handle it outside the tubes. If they say something that simply gets a smile or a head-nod from me I typically don't respond. Like "Haha, that was funny trench". Of course it was! No reply! :D
Meh, I'm not into the whole "life is one big PR spew" thing. Imho, If you care about perception then you've already lost. "Lost what, trench?" Yourself. [nods]
Agreed. I think Twitter would implement conversation threads... if the site wasn't breaking every other day. Google owns Jaiku... why Google hasn't taken advantage of the recent Twitter-fail is beyond me.

Twitter so much different than Jaiku. Here you can gave a conversation. There posts get lost in the stream.
